The remnants of KARR, the failed prototype vehicle from FLAG, would be discovered by the Stig during his task to seek out rouge sentients. Believing that this was one of them, he delivered KARR's AI to Skynet at their California headquarters.
Skynet technicians discovered that this AI was not of their design, clearly outdated, highly unstable, and consumed with rage. However, instead of trashing it they decided to tinker around with it and utilize it in a large scale prototype combat mech they were developing. KARR in his new mecha form did not speak anymore as Skynet re-purposed him so heavily it was like getting a lobotomy.
However, his strongest memories were intact, the memories of his enemies KITT and Michael Knight. Armed with a class 7 AT field, laser cannons, and modified hellfire missiles; he would become a formidable foe against the Revengers.
The mechanized body of KARR was an advanced form of vertical tank. Skynet was experimenting on building large scale mecha. KARR was 69 feet tall making him tower over all the other vertical tanks. His armor was made of gustanium as Skynet didnt want to devote their stock of daitanium on such a mech till it was proven in battle.
