It is superior to strength pound for pound than refined adamantium and carries a similar weight. Although it is not as strong as zentanium, another ore from space, astralium has been found in much more quantities. Skynet sees this metal as the next step in armor and plans to phase out daitanium and gustanium with this metal. So far it has only been utilized in a city sentry known as the GM-04 Statue. Astralium has to go through a similar refinement and molding process as Zentanium due to both metals being very hard ores to work with. It is even capable of resisting some Ki attacks though very powerful ones will overwhelm the metal much quicker than zentanium.
