This gives the aircraft a unique ability to land anywhere it damn well pleases; if there is enough space for its massive wingspan that is. This aircraft is mainly used during emergencies or extreme situations that require a massive move of FLAG's headquarters to a new location; such as to a ridiculously huge aircraft carrier (See: USS Vindicator). A perfect example of Awesome but Impractical; due to its massive size and weight the fuel consumption on this thing is pretty astronomical. Because of this the Cargo Harrier has a pretty short range as its such a pain to keep this thing in the air for any extended amount of time without constant refueling from an airborne fuel tanker. FLAG utilized the Big One to move their equipment from their headquarters in Atlanta to the USS Vindicator.
