Yogi is a sentient AI created by Jean Gates before his escape from Skynet. Yogi was actually an AI for a vertical tank that was never finished. That development moved on to Boo Boo's experimental VT prototype. Yogi was left in stasis for a while as he was mothballed but eventually got his freedom when Gates made his escape. His AI was removed from the dilapidated VT prototype and was eventually placed within a Nissan Xterra.
Gates made sure to incorporate tank-like attributes to Yogi. His body is reinforced with military grade nanoskin equals with Hank; Gates personal utility vehicle. Armed with several cannons Yogi can output considerable DPS with his firepower. Despite these attributes however, Yogi prefers the peace rather than the battle. He often will avoid conflict as much as possible and only fight when there is no other choice.
By fate it would seem that Momo's sister unknowingly purchased Yogi and he would end up meeting Boo Boo later on when Momo acquired him as her vehicle. The two are quite friends though Boo Boo is the more adventurous of the two. Yogi's driver doesn't take him out very much and he has gotten accustomed to a life of tranquility.
When it was time to join the Revengers, Yogi was hesitant about the whole thing but in the end decided to join due to how important this conflict was to the future of the world. It was not something he could just ignore with Boo Boo and all the other sentients helping.
