They are the battle androids that make up the Skynet Trooper Battalion. A vast majority of these sentries are GT-12 units and would be commonly called android troopers as they resembled stormtroopers clad in all white. But the real sentries are clad in all black. These black sentries are elite android troopers that specialized in close quarters combat mainly, though there are a few that wielded laser rifles as well. A few of these elite versions are also RX-09 and MS-09 units which are superior to the GT-12 units in every way but are more costly to build and manufacture. While the white sentries are deployed in large scale battles and general warfare, black sentries are put on specific missions, tasks, or were assigned as guards for Skynet installations or important personnel. Black sentries are more dangerous than their white sentry counterparts because they have more aggressive programming and often carry melee weaponry.
