It stands 40 feet tall and weighs over 50 metric tons. The VT-09's are 4th generation vertical tanks. As such they are much more powerful than their first, second, and third generation predecessors. The VT-09's are constructed with no weapons at first as these are mounted later and can variate depending on the task they are given. It is rare for a VT-09 to have all weapons loaded on it simultaneously as this would generate a severe amount of heat when firing them. Weapons often mounted are: Plasma Cannons Laser Cannons Photon Rockets Beam Cannons Gatling Lasers VT-09's are capable of running, though not very fast and can scale almost any kind of terrain though they do struggle on soft surfaces such as deserts. Like the drones, the vertical tanks are controlled by advanced AI which is not sentient. The VT-09's armor plating is gustanium with daitanium heavy plating. This plating is much thicker than what the drones use thus making it quite heavier. Vertical tanks are not protected by AT-fields as these were generally utilized on more advanced mecha. VT-09's will often accompany Skynet infantry in small to medium groups such as the GT-12's of the Skynet Trooper Battalion.
