This metal is much lighter while retaining its core strength making it much more useful than its unrefined counterpart. This was accomplished using a much more advanced refining process utilizing machines, lasers, and a machine which could manipulate atoms to some degree, though that technology was still a work in progress. Refined aninium would be utilized in Skytech's first vehicles which utilized a molecular bonded shell type of armor, similar to what Knight Industries would use later on KARR and KITT, but their version utilized different elemental compounds. Although nowhere on the level of strength and resistance as gustanium, refined aninium was utilized by Skytech up until the point in which they went through restructuring to become Skynet.
