But thats a story for another day!}}The AH-X0 Hoverchopper is a total retrofit over the YAH-78 Super Apache. With the help of Gates from the Revengers, the Super Apache was completely overhauled with Skynet's level of technology. So much was changed down to the frame that it could no longer be considered the Super Apache when all was said and done. It featured a rotor-less design utilizing a series of powerful jet engines to maneuver around instead. Much of the conventional weaponry has been either vastly upgraded or outright replaced. There are now laser cannons to compliment the plasma cannons as well as a nose mounted dual chain gun system with a much higher DPS. The rockets were replaced with a higher payload of hellfire missiles and finally rail guns were added making the weapon payload of this airship much more deadly. There is still only a need for one pilot as the on board computer is more than capable of handling the duties of co-pilot. Due to the vast G-forces generated by the insane maneuverability generated by encabulator engine system, an enhanced G-suit will be required to be equipped by the pilot to prevent blackouts. Unlike the Super Apache, the Hoverchopper lacks the passenger space of its predecessor. This is due to how much space the encabulator engine system takes up in the central cavity of the vessel. It can only carry 1 additional passenger in the co-pilot seat. It's stealth capabilities are strengthened with this design. The odd angles and lack of rotors will confuse radar. Its gustanium armor plating was replaced with adamantium plating making it much more durable against plasma attacks but also made it slightly heavier. However, this weight increase is not even noticeable with such powerful engines powering the aircraft. It's handling is on par with Skynet drones and would defeat even the most advanced conventional fighter aircraft in a dogfight. | |||
