These drones are a little bit smaller than the average military fighter jet as they do not require a full cockpit to house human pilots. The drones are completely controlled by advanced AI however, this AI is not sentient as Skynet opted to save sentient AI for more advanced units. The sky drones were relatively cheap by Skynet's standards to manufacture. A large fleet could be created without taxing resources too much. Drones were constructed out of refined aninium with a light daitanium plating. This allowed it to be very light while retaining some resistance against advanced weaponry. Conventional bullets often bounced off the daitanium plating. A missile might get through if it was able to out maneuver the drones which was quite difficult. Drones are highly fast and maneuverable, they are capable of pulling very high G maneuvers which would black out most human pilots. As such, drones can outmaneuver military aircraft from other countries giving them a distinct advantage in battle. Drones are armed with just 2 laser cannons. Most drones are white in color but there are some elite variants which are black. These elite drones are used on special missions or night missions and are equipped with an extra engine for increased performance and a set of plasma cannons with their laser cannons. They are also constructed completely out of daitanium instead of just having light plating.
