They are enemies to everyone; Skynet, the Revengers and their allies. They had their own ideas on how the world should be, they felt the corporations should be in control and have the entire world run on capitalism and consumerism. "People dont know what they want until its shown to them" is the policy they live by. They felt the masses could not decide for themselves and that corporations should do it for them. The corporations that made up this conglomerate were; Walmart, McDonalds, Microsoft, Apple, AT&T, Exxon, and Tesla. Later on some of the corporations would be assimilated by others until only Walmart, McDonalds, and Microsoft remained. However, in the background pulling all the strings was a mysterious corporation so powerful it was a mega conglomerate in its own right. It was the head of all other corporations involved within the Supreme Conglomerate and they were all lead by one Supreme Leader... These corporations were actually responsible for funding Skynet during their humble beginnings as Skytech. In return Skytech would share their research with these companies so they can create better consumer products for the masses. After some decades Skytech and the corporations had a disagreement about the future. Skytech could not understand why the corporations would be so against a better world but this was obviously due to greed. The corporations wanted to keep the status quo of a consumerism driven society and a utopia would ruin that. Thus that was the end of Skytech's partnership with the corporations. Their funding was cut but by then Skytech didnt need the corporations help anymore. This breakup made Skytech realize the world in its current state is corrupt by things like corporations and could not be salvaged. In order to create first one must destroy. Skytech from this point knew they would have to take a more militaristic approach to be able to reformat the world for a better future. Skytech went underground and changed their name to Skynet and continued their work in the shadows. Skynet thought that was the end of the corporations however, they didnt realize how deep the corporation's tentacles reached before the end of their joint venture. The corporations were still quite involved with Skynet long after they changed their name. Through secret talks the corporations convinced The Board to carry out their bidding even after their partnership dissolved. In return The Board would be granted great power and riches beyond their wildest dreams. The Board became corrupted by the corporations and they had a plan to turn Skynet's future utopia into their empire; a world where the corporations ruled and had control over everything. When Skynet started their widescale attacks on other countries these corporations were untouched and were in fact guarded by Skynet's own unmarked forces. The corporations were also aware of Project Gainz; an extremely powerful enforcer that seemed to be a game changer on the field but he was unpredictable. The corporations along with The Board felt uneasy about this and were adamant about putting a killswitch on Gainz in case he ever misbehaved. Nicol Bolas, the head of the Biological Research Division, was suspicious about this and decided to do some investigating. When this plan was discovered Nicol knew Skynet's leadership was compromised and The Board had to be removed with great prejudice. There was only one fit to be given this task, the only one who couldnt be manipulated or reprogrammed by Skynet; Project Gainz. Nicol gave Gainz a special mission after explaining everything to him. Gainz agreed to carry out this task as he already had sensed some corruption within Skynet anyways due to his supernatural powers. With the coming of Gainz, there was no stopping the annihilation of The Board and anyone else who was corrupted by the corporations. With The Board eliminated, Skynet effectively declared war on all the corporations they were involved with. Skynet's unmarked assets turned on the properties they were previously commanded to protect wiping out many properties and assets owned by the corporations. In retaliation, the corporations retreated to an underground fortified facility they created in a secret location over the years; just in case this scenario came to be. The corporations joined forces creating the Supreme Conglomerate. They utilized the technology that was shared by Skynet during their short joint venture to create their own little army. They had their own research divisions to build onto what Skynet gave them and created their own AI controlled vehicles and mechs. They would become an enemy for both Skynet and the Revengers.
