History
Mira is a sickly girl with a strange disorder that is similar in nature to AIDS. It cuases her immune system to overreact to intrusion and attempt to kill everything in its path; even her own body to her detriment. As a result of costing her parents a considerable amount when she was born they put her up for adoption; something she never mentions becuase she was too young to care. The family that adopted her while caring more for her kept her locked up to keep her safe and followed the direction of medical professionals whom demanded she be placed in a clean-room enviornment to keep her body from killing her. Due to this Mira's education, live interactions and basically everything else came through the internet and she became a recluse. As she attended school she worked on the side as a artist and writer with one of her pseudonyms becoming very well know and famous in the erotica market. She continues even to this day to write manga, webcomics and other such things to make side money.
Once her schooling was finished the Lowin family purchased her a ship with attachments for her to live in given her medical situation; this however was so expensive that loans were required and it meant that Mira had to work for her new home. To allow her to be kept alive more easily and to interface with her ship she consented to having her body augmented giving her the ability to interface with technology directly given her life in a bubble. It was at this point that she met her first love Ceres and they worked together through recovery of a world which they found following a survey. The planet was overtaken by strange creatures and was located in what is now known as the "New Sector". Ceres elected to stay with the locals once the two of them managed to save the planet.
It was at this point that Mira's fuelless, lost in space ship encountered the Lavie's expeditionary scout; the scout fighter was piloted by Kesslar Ryzka. This leads to Mira joining the Lavie's crew in exchange for treatment for her conditions which would allow her to; with medication (by injectable nanomachines), live a normal life relatively speaking. She would become a key member of the Trintiy Combined Service while in the New Sector providing the crew with maps and even going on ground missions with the group.
