It can also double as a medium sized cargo ship and is even capable of subspace flight by default. The Velocity Wing is not armed with many weapons as it was not meant for combat. However, it is armed with a few plasma cannons and protected by a mid range AT-Field. These ships are mainly constructed out of gustanium as it is lighter than daitanium making it easier for fast flight. The older fleet of these vessels are constructed out of refined aninium. Skynet modified a bunch of these vessels for deeper space travel. These space variants were used to explore the vast reaches of space for even stronger materials to use in Skynet's technology. There is also a red and white elite variant used exclusively by Project Gainz and KI-02. The elite variant is constructed out of adamantium and armed with additional quantum missiles.
