This includes the USS Vindicator as well as the YAH-78 Super Apache as they are both made out of the alloy. These metals are not the rarest on the planet but not in abundance either as it has to be combined with 3 ores to create this. The combination is classified and kept a close guarded secret in order for the US military to have superior protection against potential threats. However, Gates knew of this combination long before he even left Skynet. Unknown to the US government, Skynet was already aware of this metal alloy long before their scientists discovered it. Currently Gates has phased this metal alloy out in favor of daitanium and later on refined adamantium as both of them can tolerate much higher damage yields.
