They designed an extensive blueprint of a battle android chassis making sure that its parts were not too complicated to ensure fast mass production time. The first units were pretty bare-bones and could even be taken out by most conventional weaponry which was unacceptable to Skynet's standards. They went back to the drawing board to create more a more robust frame utilizing a type of titanium alloy and then coated with a thin ~~later~~ of gustanium. This made the androids virtually impervious to conventional guns as bullets would just bounce off of their bodies. The android troopers were armed with laser rifles.
